Volunteers

Because Little Athletics is a totally voluntary sport, centres cannot operate without the assistance of parents and other adult volunteers each week in fulfilling the many and varied duties required. This also ensures that competition runs smoothly and efficiently for the benefit of all our members. Duties include setting up and packing away, raking sand pits, retrieving implements (javelins, discus, shotputs), recording results, working in the canteen, just to name a few. A member  from each family will be required to fulfil a minimum of 3 duties per season for your child to be eligible for any grants, championship or perpetual award at the end of the season presentation. Click HERE to register for your duties for the season, and do your part in assisting the club.

​Little Athletics is one of the few sports where parents can become fully involved in their child’s sporting interests. A parent/carer is required to stay at the oval whilst their child is participating Little A's, so if you are interested in doing more than just supporting on the side-line, why not become an age manager, coach or official!

​No experience is necessary, please express your interest by submitting this form below. a current WWCC will be required for those volunteers that do not have children participating at our club.
