Favourite thing about Port Stephens Little A's: Seeing kids smile as they run and improve through the season... and of course, socialising with other parents and the club committee!

Did you do Little athletics as a kid, if so which club? Yes, Narromine, NSW.

What is your claim to fame in your Little A's career? I broke one of Melinda Gainsford-Taylor's school records (I think 100m when I was 10) and coached kids at the Narromine club to then break my records.

Favourite thing about Port Stephens Little A's: The smile on a little athlete when he or she achieves a result they have not done before have run faster thrown further or jumped longer , when they have all their peers cheers and the adults praise their achievement on a Monday night that makes all the hard work worthwhile.. to see them super happy and excited .. awesome 
Did you do Little athletics as a kid, if so which club?  yes in Western Australia from about 9 yrs old , always competed with school athletics from age of 5 through to 17 yrs old
What is your claim to fame in your Little A's career? 1988 South Australian state school boys under 17 100m champion public schools 
And 5th 1996 NSW country championships open men’s Long Jump

Favourite thing about Port Stephens Little A's:  Going down to the oval with the family on a sunny Summer's afternoon and watching my daughter and her friends compete in the different events, improve each week and encourage each other and have fun. ​

What is your claim to fame in your Little A's career? Cooking up the sausages some afternoons at Little As.

​Favourite thing about Port Stephens Little A's: It's great to get outside doing activities with the kids on a perfect summer evening! Dinner is taken care of with a sausage sizzle. I also love seeing the athletes build their confidence as they improve their skills week after week.

Did you do Little athletics as a kid, if so which club? Unfortunately, I didn't do Little Athletics when I was a kid but I wish I had!

What is your claim to fame in your Little A's career? Jumping on board the executive committee after my kids first season of Little A's!
